A useful tool that shows the remaining battery charge in your standard portable computer.
BattCursor was born as a small tool that allowed us to be informed of our laptop's battery directly
through the mouse's cursor, be it by means of the dispossition just under the arrow of
information about the quantity of energy available, or through
color changes depending on the energy level.
As time has gone by, it has added new and interesting visualization modes that will keep us constantly informed about the out laptop's battery.
This is the case of the Windows Vista
sidebar, where we will be able to see a graphic representation of the battery and information about its current level.
For those moments when the mouse cursor and the sidebar aren't visible,
BattCursor can automatically change the color of
Aero, showing us the battery level. Likewise, a small icon on the system tray will be able to keep us informed.
As if this wasn't enough, the program has a full series of options that will help us
save energy, like for example disable Aero Glass or Windows Sidebar, as well as reduce the screen brightness to lower the energy use.
BattCursor allows to create
profiles that we can manage based on the use and the minimum amount of time that we need to use the computer, as well as keeping us informed of all kinds of events that take place and have to do with the battery.
Ideal to give our battery major durability and the possibility to exploit its use to the maximum.
Note: For this application to work it requires Windows Vista or above, and to be installed on a laptop/netbook computer. This
download requires a ZIP compatible compressor.
